On May 5, the final cast-in-place segment of the Xiong’an-Shangqiu?High-Speed Railway Yellow River Grand Bridge was completed using a movable formwork system by China TIESIJU Civil Engineering Group, a subsidiary of CREC, marking the full connection of the bridge.
The Yellow River Grand Bridge spans a total length of 40.82 kilometers, with the main bridge measuring 1,600 meters . The segment poured this time used a 50.7-meter-long, 12.6-meter-wide, and 4.515-meter-high cast-in-place box girder, requiring 615 cubic meters of concrete. The bridge construction employed China’s longest movable formwork system, dubbed the aerial girder factory.The main line of the Xiong’an-Shangqiu?High-Speed Railway?has a total ?length of 552 kilometers and a design speed of 350 km/h.
